Woman airlifted to hospital after accident on N4

Traffic flow was affected by a single motor vehicle accident on the N4 earlier today.

According to first responders, the accident took place on the N4 at the Woestalleen off-ramp, after the vehicle involved supposedly had a tyre burst, causing the vehicle to roll.

The woman was airlifted to hospital by a helicopter.

The N4 has been cleared and traffic flow has returned to normal.
