Centurion Academy visits OH Frewin Museum

A group of students from Centurion Academy in eMalahleni visited the OH Frewin Printing and Community Press Museum last Friday.

From the first printing methods, writing equipment, cameras and even the history of both OH Frewin and the Middelburg Observer, the students were amazed to see where it all began and how things have changed.

As they toured the museum, they saw stories that were written as early as 1903 and saw how the newspaper has become what it is today.

Dedré Lourens and Marizelda van der Merwe shared what stood out for them most during their time at the museum.
