Gang storms liquor store, flees with cash, booze and hard drive

A group of armed robbers stormed Rondevour Liquor Store at Cafe 101 around 18:50 last night, shortly before the outlet was set to close.
Two employees were in the store, with one assisting at the drive through window, where a customer asked for ice.
The other employee went to the fridge to fetch the ice, when a man entered the store and pointed a firearm at him, ordering him to kneel.

The stolen alcohol was carried from the store in shopping bags.
One of the men emptied the cash register before returning to the kneeling store employee, demanding his wallet with R600 cash inside.
The gang is said to have fled in a blue Kia Picanto without registration plates.
The store’s computer hard drive was also taken.
No arrests have been made yet.
