26-year-old accused of selling schedule 6 drugs granted bail

A 26-year-old Middelburg resident, Robert John De Morney, appeared in the Middelburg Magistrate's Court today (Friday) for allegedly selling and being in possession of schedule 6 drugs.

De Morney was arrested on 8 September during a intelligence-driven operation lead by the SAPS.

According to a media statement issued by the Provincial Police, members of the SAPS reacted to a local premises after receiving information about the alleged sale of several schedule 6 medications.

De Morney was released on R1000 bail and his case was postponed to 20 October for further investigation.
