Body of the missing four-year-old boy found near Hendrina.

The month-long search for the four-year-old boy that disappeared in Extension 24 on July 30 has come to a sad end.

The Middelburg Police with the help of the SAPS Mounted Unit found Mpendulo Mqcukani’s body on a farm near the Hendrina Road today (Friday).

This comes after the Middelburg Police intensified their search on Thursday.

The children who were playing with Mpendulo the day he went missing showed the police the farm they were playing on.

His disappearance caused outrage in the community and regular searches were conducted by the residents.

The police are currently on the scene with the family waiting for the forensic pathology to transport the body to the mortuary.
