The owner, who requested anonymity, explained that his bike was stolen after the thieves gained access to the property in Koedoe Street, Kanonkop, by breaking open the lock on the gate.

The thieves then pushed the motorcycle out of the yard and made off with it.
The motorcycle is valued at R90 000.

The owner explained that neighbours reported two suspicious vehicles after the theft, which indicates that the thieves planned the theft in advance.

“Neighbours sighted a silver Mercedes two weeks ago which stopped and took photos of the property. A white Ford Ranger was also seen a small distance down the street, idling with its headlights off on the morning of the theft.

The motorcycle is a Suzuki GSX – R1300 Hayabusa.
It’s registration number is CAW11401.

While the motorcycle consists of a common shape, it’s engine capabilities are what makes it unique.
