Syndicate possibly involved in theft of motorcycle

Another motorcycle was stolen early this morning in Protea Street.

Ms. Chantelle Mans said that the thieves gained access to their yard after forcing their gate open.
The blaring alarm was not enough to scare the thieves off.

The family was awoken by their barking dogs before the theft but they could not see anything out of place at the time.

By the time they saw the motorcycle being pushed out, they alerted Titon Security but it was too late.

Chantelle says the motorcycle was loaded into a Quantam taxi which was being escorted by a smaller black car.
This morning’s events are similar to a previous theft of a motorcycle in Dennesig earlier this week, where the motorcycle was also loaded into a Quantam taxi.

The shaken homeowner told www.mobserver.co.za that the thieves had strewn poison into their yard and that they had to rush their cat to the vet.

The stolen motorcycle is a Suzuki GXR 1000. They could not confirm the registration plates due to the fact that the motorcycle was recently purchased and they were at the vet.

Anyone who has any information regarding the location of the stolen motorcycle can call Chantalle at 083 784 1855.
