The Rock of Miracles place of safety will be hosting an open day where volunteers are welcome to visit their home and see how they can help make a difference in the lives of the orphans and foster children in their care.
The open day is being held on 25 and 26 October, where two time slots between 09:00 to 11:00 and 14:00 to 16:00 have been made available for visitors at their home in Anjorika Complex, 31 Wicht Street.
They want to encourage the involvement of volunteers who are willing to assist in caring for the children.
The following needs list was also made available for anyone who wishes to assist through donations:
- Purity, soft foods or snacks for toddlers
- Snacks for the teenagers’ lunchboxes
- 0 – 3 months baby clothes for boys and girls
- 3 – 6 months clothes for boys
- 6 – 12 months clothes for boys
- 12 – 18 months clothes for boys or girls
- Washing powder and fabric softener
- Bottles (for infants)
- Nappy bin refills
- Novolac AR digest for one of the babies who suffers from reflux.
