Three men mercilessly beaten to death

Three men were found brutally killed at the former SAPS weapons training facility Maleoskop on Thursday.

Limpopo Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe assembled a specialized task team to track the heartless killers.

The brutal murders, in which all three men sustained horrific injuries all over their bodies, is reported to have occurred between 18:00 Wednesday and 08:00 Thursday.

On Wednesday evening, a Ford Ranger bakkie arrived at the premises where the driver informed security guards at the main gate that they were visiting someone at the mothballed Blueridge Mine, also situated on the premises.

On Thursday, the bakkie was found abandoned outside the main gate with the three bodies inside.
The fourth occupant was nowhere to be found.

Excessive wounds on the bodies indicate that the men were beaten to death with various objects.

The deceased have not been formally identified.

Police are appealing to the community to assist with the investigation.

Anyone with information that can lead to the apprehension of the suspects, or can assist in identifying the victims, should contact the investigating officer Captain Mphake Masemola on 082 724 2855, or the crime stop number 0860010111 or the nearest police station.

Alternatively, informants can report anonymously using MySAPSapp.
