Cops hunt for suspects involved in SADC Street shooting

The Middelburg Police have launched a manhunt after robbers open fire on a security guard.

The Middelburg Police are currently conducting an investigation at Ultra Liquors on SADC Street.

At about 08:00 this morning, a security guard was shot during a business robbery at the bottle store.

Business owners in the area told the Middelburg Observer journalist that they heard three gunshots coming from the liquor store.

The security guard was wounded in his neck.

It is believed that the suspects fled in the direction of Correctional Services on John Magagula Street.
