Victim shot in armed business robbery

The police are in pursuit of the fleeing suspects.

One person has been wounded in an armed business robbery at a liquor store in Cowen Ntuli Street this morning.

It has been reliably learned that an ambulance was dispatched to the scene while members of the SAPS are in pursuit of the suspects.

The robbers are believed to have fled in a vehicle and were last seen headed down John Magagula Street, in the direction of the Correctional Services.
