The gruesome discovery was made by a security guard who was conducting his regular patrol in Celsius Street, it was initially reported that the body was a foetus.

He found the black bag in a open field.

An inquest docket was opened with the Middelburg Police and it is suspected that the baby might have been strangled before being put in the plastic bag.
