Three suspects arrested for theft of railway tracks

Three suspects were arrested on Tuesday near the Alzu Petroport on the N4 after being found in possession of stolen railway tracks worth R3 million.

Alpheus Sithole (Mozambican), Nelson Alberto Mazole (Mozambican) and Campbell Runyararo Tsiga (Zimbabwean) appeared in the Middelburg Magistrates’ Court today facing charges of being in possession of stolen goods.

The accused were denied bail, and the case has been postponed until next week Thursday for their formal bail applications.
