Meet the addicts in recovery at City of Refuge

There are already more than 30 addicts who receive help at the rehabilitation centre at Botshabelo.

There are 38 drug addicts, 32 men and six women, who receive help at the City of Refuge Rehabilitation Centre at Botshabelo.

Although they are already staying there, everybody is helping to fix the old Missionary House, which contains rooms in and around the house, close to the Botshabelo Church.

Pastor Patrick Simelane is in charge of the centre and mentioned they want to take older people from the streets and put them into a house at Botshabelo.

• After that project is completed, they want to open an orphanage and a boarding school. The school will be called the SP Simelane School, and the orphanage will be called the Magutshwa Orphanage.

• People who want more information about the centre and all their other plans can send a WhatsApp to Pastor Simelane on 082 908 6832.

• A few people at the centre permitted their photos to be published.
