A ‘toe’tally epic inter-house season kicks off with a bang!

The sight of parents, grandparents, and other loved ones cheering on their household stars was simply unmatched, with the children of Middelburg delivering outstanding performances on all fronts.

The school inter-house season officially kicked off last week, with Laerskool Staatspresident C.R. Swart and Hoërskool Middelburg getting proceedings underway on Friday.

The action continued today, with Middelburg Primary and Laerskool Middelburg hosting awesome spectacles at their grounds.

To see these children push themselves to the limit is awe-inspiring, with their steely-eyed expressions perfectly matched with their fun-loving attitudes.

This was the case with Laerskool Middelburg’s Lukas Greyling, who sustained a minor injury on one of his toes this afternoon.

Hopping over to the medical tent, Lukas put on a brave face and showed how tough he was by posing for a photo with Donald Meyer and JP Grobler, the medics who gave the young boy a bandage for his troubles. A memen‘toe’ of sorts.

His toe may have been hurt, but nothing could harm the young boy’s pride.
