According to the notice published by the municipality, many graves were damaged due to flooding.
A video taken by visitors to the cemetery shows the extent of the damage.

The municipality said several tombstones have collapsed, and a number of sunken graves were also reported.

The authority says soil sinking cannot be prevented.

Rain also caused major erosion with topsoil washed away during the flash floods.
