The 15-year-old girl who went missing on March 13 has been found.

Thando Andisa Mtsweni’s family said she was found today (Monday) in Extension 8, Mhluzi, close to a tavern.

Last week, the Middelburg Observer spoke to Thando’s mother, Lilian Mtsweni, who was concerned about her daughter’s whereabouts.

When the paper contacted Lilian earlier today, she told the Observer that residents reached out to her after seeing the article, and told her they saw Thando near a tavern.

Lilian went to the area and found Thando still dressed in the same clothes she was last seen wearing two months ago when she went missing.

Thando’s family would like to thank community members and everyone who helped search for her.
