Search party organised for missing Blinkpan woman

A search party has been organised for a missing Blinkpan woman.

Thabisile Thabethe (36) has been missing since May 30 and the Blinkpan community has launched a search to locate her.

According to DA Councillor, Stefan Smith, recent information suggests that she was last seen at a bar in Blinkpan before leaving for home.

Community members and SAPS gathered during an earlier search. PHOTO: supplied.

Thabisile lives on the Welverdiend Farm, which Smith says is a 6km walk from the bar she was visiting.

A search party led by the Blinkpan CPF, in which Blinkpan SAPS will also be involved is underway. All volunteers will be meeting at 13:00 today at the Blinkpan Club.

A search of the Koornfontein and Blinkpan area will be made.

Anyone with information on Thabisile Thabethe’s whereabouts can contact Timothy Thabethe at 072 665 6261.
