There was a post on social media: “Today, together with the regional secretary, comrade Sello Matshoga, we had a successful engagement with Steve Tshwete Local Municipality, led by Executive Mayor Mhlonishwa Masilela, administration led by Mandla Mnguni, and Workers Union SAMWU led by Regional Chairperson Nkosi, Regional Secretary Mr Selo and Local Chairperson Mr Magagula. We resolved all the issues on the table, and employees have agreed to resume work.

The Dennesig dams in Middelburg have been a place of relaxation for residents for decades. Recently, an invasive plant took over the dams, causing significant ecological damage. Last week, someone set fire to the reeds, which had become a hiding place for criminals. #Middelburg #Mpumalanga
