SAPS Sekhukhune District recognises excellence

The awards acknowledged brilliance in operational performance, administration, leadership, teamwork, and community service.

Sekhukhune District Commissioner Major-General Junior Lehabe-Metsi lauded SAPS members for their resilience, dedication, and sacrifices during the Police Day Excellence celebration held at Boeketlong Lodge in Mogoroane Village on January 30.

Lehabe-Metsi highlighted the consistency and determination of the police in going beyond the call of duty to protect communities, adding that their commitment and sacrifices do not go unnoticed.

The officers serving in various divisions and administrative staff attached to SAPS Hlogotlou, Burgersfort, Mecklenburg, Nebo, Jane Furse, Ohrigstad, and the district received awards of excellence.

Deputy Provincial Commissioner Major-General Sebola congratulated the recipients of the accolades, encouraging them to continue upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and teamwork, while prioritising their well-being and sustaining pubic trust and confidence in the SAPS.
