Groblersdal Weather: Warm week with scattered thundershowers expected

Groblersdallers can expect a mix of cloud, sunshine and isolated thundershowers for the week ahead, with temperatures climbing to the low 30s by the weekend.

Residents can expect a varied but generally warm week ahead, with cloudy skies and scattered thundershowers giving way to hotter, sunnier conditions towards the weekend.

A thunderstorm is expected in parts of the area this morning (Tuesday), with mostly cloudy conditions persisting throughout the day. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, reaching a maximum of 26°C, while a 55% chance of rain remains. By tonight, temperatures are expected to drop to around 14°C.

Conditions improve on Wednesday, with partly sunny skies and warmer weather returning. The maximum temperature is set to climb to 28°C, although there remains a slight 25% chance of rain. Clear skies are expected in the evening, with temperatures dropping to 14°C.

Thursday will bring a mix of cloud and sunshine, maintaining warm conditions. Temperatures are expected to peak at 28°C, with a minimum of 14°C.

The heat intensifies on Friday, with sunny skies and very warm conditions forecast. Temperatures will rise to 31°C during the day, then cool to 14°C overnight.

Saturday continues the trend of hot, sunny weather, with temperatures reaching 32°C – the highest of the week. Evening temperatures will settle at around 15°C under clear skies.

By Sunday, warm conditions will persist, although cloud cover will increase. A maximum of 31°C is expected, with thundershowers likely in parts of the area during the afternoon and evening. There is a 55% probability of rain, with temperatures dropping to 15°C overnight.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated during the hotter days and remain alert for possible thunderstorms towards the start and end of the week.
