Search ongoing for missing pensioner

It has been a month since the disappearance of Sarah Mokgaetji Kekana.

The police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 70-year-old Sarah Mokgaetji Kekana from Moletlane, who disappeared while travelling to Magatle Village.

Police are continuing their search for Sarah, who was reported missing at the SAPS Moletlane on May 2.

According to Limpopo police, Sarah left her home in Moletlane intending to travel to Magatle Village to visit her parental home before proceeding to her younger brother’s residence in Magatle New Stand, where a family ceremony was taking place.

Limpopo Provincial Police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said Sarah never arrived at either destination and her whereabouts remain unknown.

Police investigations revealed that a woman who knows Sarah saw her shortly before she departed from Moletlane.

Authorities are appealing to members of the public who may have information regarding Sarah’s whereabouts to come forward.
