Bush of death
More bodies were discovered in the 'bush of death' near the Black Wattle Colliery on the Bethal road on Sunday.

Two bodies were found laying in the veld, badly decomposed, by wood collectors who contacted the police.
A gun was found next to the bodies and will be sent for tests to try and gather more clues about how the victims were killed. Both bodies had their hands tied behind their backs and one still had jewelry on, raising question marks about the motive for the killings.
The victims, believed to be male, underwent a postmortem on Monday. The results were not known at the time of going to print. One of the victims were dressed in uniform, leading police to think that he might have worked as a security guard.
A Mozambican family from Uitkyk informal settlement next to the N4, were called to the state mortuary to possibly id the victims. They reported two men, a father and son, missing on 25 January.
According to information, the family said that the men left for eMalahleni from their house in Uitkyk to collect goods that had to be transported to Mozambique.
They were supposed to return home before leaving for Maputo. They never returned.
Their vehicle, a white Toyota Hilux single cab, with registration number CXG 196 MP has been reported as stolen. Anyone with information can contact the investigating officer, constable Skosana, on 013 249 1402.
They were still waiting for a chance to view the bodies at the time of going to press.
• The bodies were discovered close to where the bodies of two hi-jack victims were recovered from a mine shaft in November 2014.
• A skeleton was discovered in the same area by a herdsman in 2011. A gaping hole in the skeleton and a rusted shifting spanner were telltale signs of how the victim came to his end. He was never identified.
