Multiple deaths confirmed around Middelburg this weekend

Three bodies discovered at Vaalbank between Sunday and today.

One person was killed in an early morning crash next to the Van Dyksdrift off-ramp on the N4.

The accident occurred around 05:40 this morning.

Last night, another person was also killed near the Bethal off-ramp on the N4.

Louwtjie Swart of Wollies Towing said a vehicle overturned this morning, resulting in a secondary crash, in which a victim was killed.

The Middelburg Observer is also aware of two other collisions that claimed two more lives over the weekend.

The Observer is, however, still waiting for information regarding the other two deaths; where they occurred, and the identities of the deceased.

The deceased from last night and this morning’s N4 crashes, have also not been formally identified.

In another horrifying discovery, since yesterday, the bodies of three people were discovered at Vaalbank.

Two inquests and one murder investigation have been launched in regard to the bodies.

A knife was recovered near one of the Vaalbank bodies.

A reliable source told the Middelburg Observer that most of the fatal accidents during the weekend involved fleeing foreigners ahead of tomorrow’s March to March.
