FGSA’s success in nurturing the sport’s growth has attracted attention, and they are actively seeking new partnerships to further propel footgolf in South Africa. They are particularly interested in collaborating with brands that share their vision for developing the sport at all levels, from junior to senior, across both male and female divisions.

Furthermore, FGSA is issuing a call to action for corporations to invest in the rehabilitation of golf courses, provide equipment partnerships, and support branding and marketing efforts aimed at driving increased participation from all sectors of society.

“We are at an exciting juncture,” said FGSA CEO Eric Mlambo. “We have a fantastic opportunity to increase the number of South African participants at the upcoming World Cup and to establish footgolf as a major sport across the continent.”

Mlambo emphasised the need for increased visibility and resources to enable young player participation and support all developmental efforts. He highlighted the organisation’s public benefit certification, which offers significant advantages to organisations looking to support their work.

Whether you are a seasoned player or a curious newcomer, FGSA invites everyone to join. Those interested in learning more or partnering with Footgolf South Africa can contact the FGSA on 064 508 2619, enquiries@footgolfsa.co.za, or www.footgolfsa.co.za
