Nova Pioneer Midrand celebrated a remarkable victory as the senior netball team secured first place at the highly competitive Women in Sports Tournament.
Hosted by Marist Brothers Linmeyer on March 1, the tournament brought together some of the finest young female athletes from across Gauteng, and the Novaneers rose to the challenge, with unwavering determination, exceptional teamwork, and a winning spirit.
From the first whistle to the final moments of the competition, the Midrand team showcased skill, strategy, and resilience, ultimately earning the top spot on the podium.

Head of school Sizo Chalufu said: “We are beyond proud of our girls for their dedication and the heart they displayed on the field. This victory is a testament to their hard work, discipline, and the incredible support from our coaches, staff, and fellow Novaneers.”
