Pensioner’s car stolen in Msogwaba

It is alleged the thieves broke the gate lockers while the owners were asleep.

MSOGWABA- A white Hyundai Bakkie with registration numbers HRC 183 MP was stolen around 03:00 at a pensioner’s yard yesterday at Msogwaba Mluti area next to Bongani Primary School.

It is alleged the thieves broke the gate lockers while the owners were asleep and had nicely locked the gates the previous night and were able to steal the bakkie.

Pienaar police spokesperson, Capt Jabu Ndubane says there are allegations that the thieves might have had matching car keys with the original keys for the bakkie. “This is the first incident to happen around Mluti area” she said

No arrest has been made so far. “We warn motorists around the area to ensure their cars are safe by parking them in locked garages and install safety measures to keep them safe, ” said Ndubane.
