Music playlist to end the year 2014

The festive season is upon us, the time to grace dance floors with our moves has come. But just what are we dancing to this summer? I have heard a number of new releases of late and I am not yet sure if I know which one will take us to the new year.

The festive season is upon us, the time to grace dance floors with our moves has come. But just what are we dancing to this summer? I have heard a number of new releases of late and I am not yet sure if I know which one will take us to the new year.

I have heard Black Motion’s Rainbow, featuring Xoli M, and I must say, the song stands out for me.

Most people have concurred with me on this notion, to say that this is the IT jam for this season. I have also been keeping an open ear and I should also mention that DJ Merlon ft Mlondi Ngcobo’s Koze Kuse track is one that would keep the parties pumping this season.

Did I mention that Busiswa’s Lahla might see people literally “lahling” these holidays? This song is a complete banger and it can suck the dance moves out of you if you are not careful.

The Durban boys also seem to be keeping up with the momentum with their music this happy season. “Lezi I’ntombi zama Boss”, the L’vovo ft Danger, Mampintsha & Sir Bubzin “Amabhoza” track is also a body shaker. Fisherman’s Call Out is also making waves alongside Heavy K ft Naak Musiq Yini.

There is no excuse for one to be indoors this summer with so much music to keep the hype up. I don’t know about you, but hitherto, I would probably still dance to Y Chukucha, Easy to love, and Nyoso.

It could be that all this is because I am a huge fan of DJ Bucks’dance moves, or maybe because I don’t like Nyoso, literally.

We are looking forward to a banging festive season and our musicians are doing a great job keeping us tapping our feet.
