“We are ready for local goverment elections ” says EFF
“Bigger things are still coming, people must just watch the space. Change is about to happen as much as we are ready to launch our manifesto next February"

MBOMBELA – Since the beginning of the year, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have been gaining momentum, especially in Ehlanzeni district, which is their stronghold.
Speaking to this publication, the provincial chairperson of EFF, Mr Collen Sedibe has stated that they are more than ready for the local government elections.
“We are geared for the local government elections and I can tell that ANC is shaken and they will feel the heat, come 2016, history will be made in the country when we will be setting the people free, including the poorest of the poor from oppression, poverty and corruption which had had a negative impact when it comes to service delivery because people are fed up of such things,” said Sedibe.
He alluded that the ruling party shifted focus from its mandate a long time ago and the departure of comrades who have been in the party for a very long time, are an indication that proves that surely but slowly the ship of the ANC is sinking.
“We have strongholds in all the districts in the province and we are very pleased about our performance, both at provincial and at national level,” added Sedibe.
Mpumalanga News learnt that some the top dogs of the ruling party who decided to quit and made headlines include local business people and former member of the ruling party in parliament, Mr Tseko Taabe and the former head of department in community safety, security and liaison, Mr Isaiah Khoza.
Sedibe concluded by saying:
“Bigger things are still coming people must just watch the space. Change is about to happen as much as we are ready to launch our manifesto next February.”
