Tekwane South pump’s burst pipeline causes water outages

The Silulumanzi team said it would be doing swift maintenance on the pump's burst pipeline.

Following the previous eight days’ water drought that left many people grumbling yet again, the residents of KaNyamazane and surrounding areas will have erratic water supply.

The spokesperson of Silulumanzi, Richmond Jele, notified communities in KaNyamazane that a burst pipe in Tekwane South’s pump station will affect water supply for almost over six hours.

Jele said, “The utility team will start maintenance at 15:00 and the estimated time for repairs is six hours.”

The areas affected are Tekwane South, Tekwane North and eNtokozweni.
