Church and health department pray for Mpumalanga’s healthcare workers

Some healthcare workers went out to KaNyamazane to attend this session.

The Mpumalanga MEC for health, Sasekani Manzini, joined the El Shaddai Tabernacle International Church in KaNyamazane for a prayer session on Sunday, October 20, aimed at encouraging communities to appreciate healthcare workers.

The session was co-hosted through a partnership between the church and the Mpumalanga Department of Health. Some local healthcare workers attended, as the event was hosted for them. Manzini encouraged collaborative efforts between the congregation, pastors and government to foster hope and positivity.

She expressed appreciation for the healthcare workers’ unwavering dedication to public service and strongly condemned the disruptions and violence against workers in healthcare facilities.
Manzini also urged church members to undergo regular medical check-ups for timely diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
