Frank ‘Frank Mabeat’ Ngwenya was among a selected few South African producers who remixed the song “Ruin” by US singer, Usher. The song is included in Usher’s album, Coming Home, which was released in February.

“It felt awesome. What I like about the song was that I was able to make sure I stick to my sound and deliver the African sound.”

Ngwenya has since worked with notable SA artists such as Oscar Mbo, Murumba Pitch, Soa Matrix and Russell Zuma, producing hits songs like “Athandwe”, “Lindishone” and “Umoya”.
