Mbombela United makes it to the last 32

United, who qualified for the last 32 after a series of knock-out games.

Mbombela United will join the two other provincial teams that have made it to the last 32 of the country’s most lucrative soccer tourney, the Nedbank Cup, when they take on PSL giants, Moroka Swallows.

The two other teams that have made it through are Mpumalanga Black Aces who will face Maritzburg United and Witbank Spurs who will travel to the Free State to take on Free State Stars.

The Vodacom Promotional League campaigners, Mbombela United travel to Soweto where they have a tough date against the Dube Birds, Moroka Swallows next Saturday, February 22 at the Dobsonville Stadium at 20:15.

United, who qualified for the last 32 after a series of knock-out games, have set themselves two goals for this season, one being to secure a spot at the national play-offs and the other to partake in the Nedbank Cup.
