The touch of supreme maestro Mobi Dixon as the producer adds a sparkle that will make uMakoti one of the anthems as we head towards the end of the year.
‘It’s a song that have been used for celebrations over the years, it’s easy on the ear, a great sing-along that brings people together across racial and language barriers. uMakoti comes at a time when there are a lot of celebrations and it will add fuel to any party,’ Karabo shares.
To make it his own, Karabo brought in a live band, wrote his own verses, added a bridge but still maintained the sincerity, playfulness and energy of the song. ‘It sounds very good and you will enjoy it,’ he guarantees.
