An extraordinary video featuring a buffalo calf, crocodiles, hyenas, leopards and a hippo was captured on the border of the Kruger National Park near Malalane.

Lex Hollmann, the man responsible for the video, said on his YouTube channel that a buffalo calf was attacked by a crocodile first. The calf managed to escape, only to be caught by three hyenas.

Remarkably, he explained, these were joined by two leopards. However, later on the crocodiles leave the safety of the river to reclaim their prize.

Once this was all over, a hippo picked at the remains of the calf. “That was the unreal scene in this video,” Hollmann said.
