KZN security boss shot dead

The owner of Ithunzi Protection Services was found with multiple gunshot wounds in his vehicle in Mtwalume.

Hibberdene police are investigating a case of murder after the owner of Ithunzi Protection Services, Vusimuzi Michael Duma (55), was shot dead in his vehicle in the Mfazazane area in Mtwalume yesterday evening.

According to Ugu District police, Duma was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a dark grey Toyota Hilux bakkie at about 21:30, reports the South Coast Herald.

“It is alleged that two men armed with a handgun and a rifle fired shots at the victim, fatally injuring him,” added police.

The motive for the murder is being investigated.
