Motshekga and Lesufi to visit families of Bronkhorstspruit taxi crash victims
Eighteen learners and two adults were killed when the minibus they were travelling in collided with a truck on the Groblersdal Road just before Bronkhorstspruit on Friday afternoon.
Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga, and Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, will visit the families of those who were killed in a minibus accident on Friday, reports the Pretoria East Rekord.
In a statement released by her office, Motshekga said her department would work together with the Gauteng and Mpumalanga education departments to support the families “through this trying time”.

The learners were from Mahlenga High School and Refano Primary School.
A report released by Lesufi on Friday, said the minibus driver apparently underestimated the speed of the oncoming truck and collided with it as he was about to turn.
