Fatal N1 bus crash: Bus driver in court today

The 41-year-old bus driver faces nine counts of culpable homicide and a charge of reckless and/or negligent driving

The driver involved in the horrific bus crash which claimed nine lives outside Polokwane on Friday, 21 September, is expected to reappear before the Polokwane Magistrates COurt today, Polokwane Review reports.

The 41-year-old suspect in the matter was arrested a few days later while attempting to cross the border into Zimbabwe illegally.

He appeared before the same court last week and was denied bail. The case was postponed to today (Tuesday, 2 October) for further investigation.
