Ban Animal Trading protest outside Johannesburg Zoo against ‘incarcerated elephants’
Animal rights activists protest against the Joburg Zoo’s display.
Ban Animal Trading (BAT) is currently protesting outside the Joburg Zoo (17 August) in opposition to the alleged incarcerated three elephants, Rosebank Killarney Gazette reports.
This follows the outcry by residents who say that the tricks performed by Mopane on World Elephant Day at the Zoo were a display of circus tricks and as such reportedly animal cruelty.
