Healthy jelly treats your kids will love

Rooibos tea is a powerhouse of health benefits, offering antioxidants and no caffeine, making it an ideal ingredient for little ones.

Finding healthy snacks your kids will love can feel like a challenge, but these Tea4Kidz Infused Jelly Treats are here to save the day. They’re a fun, flavorful alternative to store-bought sweets, perfect for lunchboxes, pre-school energy boosts, or a light after-dinner treat.

Packed with the natural goodness of Rooibos tea, these jelly bites are a hit with kids and parents alike. The best part? These jellies are incredibly easy to make. With just five steps and a handful of ingredients, you can whip up a batch in no time.

For an added bonus, these jellies store well in the fridge, making them ideal for meal prep. If you don’t have silicone moulds, you can easily pour the mixture into a shallow dish and cut it into fun-sized squares once it’s set. Recipe compliments of Joekels.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tea4Kidz Strawberry Rooibos teabags
  • 2 cups of water
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 4 tablespoons of gelatine
  • Silicone moulds

  1. Place 2 cups of water into a saucepan and bring the water to the boil. Reduce the heat, add in the 4 Tea4Kidz teabags and let it steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the teabags and add honey while stirring until the honey has dissolved.
  3. Add in the gelatine to the tea mixture, whisking continuously until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the mix into your silicone moulds and place them in the fridge until the mix has set.
  5. Pop the jelly treats out from the moulds and enjoy!
