1. Tyres

The minimum legal tread depth in most countries is around 1.6mm, but tyres can become unsafe long before reaching this point, especially in rainy conditions or congested traffic.
Signs of tyre neglect:

Ignoring these can increase braking distances and the risk of skidding (aquaplaning).
2. Brakes
