2 shot at KZN garage: Police launch investigation

Police are investigating a shooting at a garage that left one man in critical condition and another injured.

Two people were shot at the Punjab Circle in Merebank, KZN, yesterday afternoon.

According to an article published by Southlands Sun, Garrith Jamieson, ALS Paramedics spokesperson, says paramedics attended to a shooting incident at a garage just after 17:00.

He says a man, believed to be in his 60s, is in a critical condition. He was stabilised on scene before being rushed to a local hospital.

Another man, believed to be in his 30s, was also shot. He was in a stable condition when he was transported to hospital.

Wentworth police and metro police were at the scene.

The motive behind the shooting is not known, and police are investigating.
