Body discovered near West Rand nightclub
The body of a 21-year-old man has been discovered after he allegedly passed out in his vehicle near a nightclub in Krugersdorp West, Gauteng.
Members of the Sector 5 Community Policing Forum received a call-out on Saturday night after the man, Timmy Wilson, appeared to be passed out in his car in the middle of Rustenburg Road, opposite the infamous Lime Lite nightclub, Krugersdorp News reported.
On arrival at the scene, the man was removed from his vehicle by the first respondents, who immediately noted he had no pulse.
Netcare 911 paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead.
“We would like to thank Netcare 911 for their quick response and good service, along with the CPF Sector 4’s medical response team, who responded to the call-out,” Sector 5’s spokesperson, Deon Steyn, said.
In a separate incident, the dead body was discovered in a vehicle in the parking lot of a shopping centre in Krugersdorp, last month.
The discovery at a petrol station in a shopping centre in Noordheuwel drew a crowd anxious to see what was hidden behind an ambulance.
According to a homeless person who sleeps at the garage at night, a white Land Rover was parked there when he arrived at the petrol station.
He described the blue face of the man sitting in the vehicle, with foam coming from his mouth. Minutes later a woman believed to be related to the deceased arrived on the scene. When paramedics told her the news she collapsed and was taken to the ambulance for treatment. The police and CPF were called to assist.
