Down to stage 2: Eskom announces changes to load-shedding
Rolling power cuts have been reduced by a stage – but only until this afternoon.
Load-shedding was reduced from stage 3 to stage 2 at 09:00 and will remain in place until 16:00 when it will be increased to stage 3.
Stage 3 lasts until 16:00 tomorrow.
“Then stage 4 load-shedding will be implemented from 16:00 until 05:00 on Thursday, followed by stage 3 load-shedding until 16:00 on Friday. Eskom will communicate should any significant changes occur,” spokesperson Daphne Mokwena says.
