Durban University of Technology stabbed student laid to rest
He died in the intensive care unit at a Durban hospital.
Emotions ran high during the funeral service of Sandile Ndlovu (18) on Saturday, 28 September 2019, Mpumalanga News reports.
Family, friends and former classmates gathered at Metropolitan College to pay their last respects to a Durban University of Technology student who was stabbed on September 9 in a lecture hall.
Ndlovu was brutally attacked and stabbed in a lecture hall on the Steve Biko campus on 9 September. He suffered severe head injuries and was placed on life support in ICU with extensive brain damage.
He died on Saturday, 21 September 2019, in the intensive care unit at a Durban hospital.
Tributes from his parents, students and friends were paid to him before they proceeded to the Rocky’s Drift Cemetery.
