Elderly woman found murdered in Pretoria

A 94-year-old woman was found murdered in a home in Capital Park, Moot, Pretoria on Friday afternoon, Rekord Moot reports.

The incident happened on the corner of Flowers Street and 7th Avenue early in the afternoon, said Capital Park Sector Police vice chairperson Anthony Smith.

Police spokesperson, Captain Augistinah Selepe said preliminary investigation indicated that the woman was suffocated.

Smith said the roads have been completely blocked off, adding that the scene was still active.
