Eskom has announced that stage 2 and 3 load-shedding will be implemented at various time slots for the rest of the week.

The power utility says from 16:00, stage 3 load-shedding will be in effect and continue until 05:00 tomorrow.

This stage of power cuts will be implemented daily between 16:00 and 05:00 the next day.

Stage 2 load-shedding will then come into effect between 05:00 and 16:00 daily.

Eskom says these varied stages will be implemented for the rest of the week.

“Eskom appeals to the public to conserve as much electricity as possible during this period,” the power utility urges.
