Gardener discovers decomposed body in Everton

The body was badly decomposed and police could not identify the sex nor the race.

A DECOMPOSED body was discovered along Acutts Road in Kloof on Friday, 25 June.

According to Hillcrest saps communications officer, Capt Linzi Smith, there was a smell emanating from the road and a gardener called a local response officer for assistance.

“Upon inspection,  it was  discovered that it was human remains.

Smith said the sex or race could not be determined due to the state of decomposition.

A case docket of murder has been opened and is currently under investigation, she said.

“We urge residents to come forward with any information pertaining to this incident.”
