Gigaba court case moves to the Pretoria regional court
The court case has been postponed to 14 September.

The court case of the wife of former minister of finance Malusi Gigaba, Nomachule Gigaba, who appeared in the Hatfield court on Monday, has been transferred to the Pretoria regional court.
Nomachule is facing charges of malicious damage to property and crimen injuria after allegedly vandalising a car believed to be belonging to her husband’s friend.
The case was postponed to 14 September, at the Pretoria regional court.
Advocates Dali Mpofu and Tembeka Ngcukaitobi were part of the legal team that represented her.
Nomachule was arrested on Friday afternoon, and spent one night in the Brooklyn police station in the east of Pretoria before being released on bail on Saturday afternoon.
Initially, the matter was handled by the Hawks but has since been handed over to the SAPS.
Hawks spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi said handing over the case was a “normal policing procedure”.
However, Mulaudzi said the case fell into the lap of the department due to ongoing investigations concerning the current case.
“This is one part of the investigation which we are carrying out that will assist the intelligence department with our broader investigation. And we are working closely with SAPS,” he said.
Nomachule’s arrest came after a video of a vandalised car trended on social media platforms, last week.
