Kirsten Kluyts murder: Christmas in jail for accused
Parts of the autopsy report revealed the Delta Park High School teacher was pregnant but showed no visible rape signs.
The bail application of the 21-year-old suspect in the Kirsten Kluyts murder case continued in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court today.
Kluyts’ body was found in Sandton in October after she went out for a run. The suspect was seen on video footage, allegedly wearing her T-shirt.
He later said in court that he stumbled across her body and later removed her clothes out of fear that his DNA would be on them.
Yesterday, a part of the autopsy report was read into the court record by the accused.
It revealed that there were no visible signs of rape and that Kluyts was three months pregnant at the time of her death.
